QA Manager

This person is responsible for managing the QA organization for Be Inc. This includes providing leadership for the QA engineering team as well as organizing, scheduling, and maintaining the QA lab. It is critical that this person be capable of leading design and implementation of C, C++, and scripted test suites for all levels of the BeOS. Responsibility for interface with the QA teams of our future OEM's will also be an integral part of your role as QA Manager. The successsful candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to participate and supervise others in the management and tracking of bugs across multiple platforms and releases. In addition, this candidate must have a proven record in developing and managing C and C++ programs, creating and/or porting various UNIX tools, and designing and implementing testing strategies. This is a hands on position. Be forewarned, if you wish only to delegate, this is not for you. This individual must have 3-5 years experience supervising a team whose main focus is tracking down hard-to-find bugs in both high-level and low-level software.
