BeatWare Releases Major Upgrade to Popular Email Application for the BeOS®

Menlo Park, CA - November 10, 1998 -- BeatWare, Inc. today announced a major upgrade to BeatWare Mail-It® -- the award winning email application for the BeOS-to be released next month to coincide with the introduction of BeOS Release 4. This is the first major upgrade to Mail-It since its introduction in December 1997.

With over a dozen major enhancements, Mail-It 2.0 provides heavy email users with the speed, ease of use and powerful advanced features they need to send, receive and effectively manage large volumes of email. New features of Mail-It 2.0 include:

Preview Panel for faster browsing of email

Comprehensive Filtering, including the ability to cross-reference address books

Auto-reply and Auto forwarding of messages

Expanded Contact Manager, including fields for multiple email addresses, nicknames, mailing addresses, URLs and personal information

Multiple Address Books and Mailing List Groups

Stationery for creating, saving and sending templated email messages

Undo capabilities
