Envision, Inc. Envision, Inc. Announces Juggle Show® for the BeOS®
Dearborn, Michigan; November 9, 1998: Today Envision, Inc. announced its
new Juggle Show presentation system. Juggle Show, set for final release in
the first quarter of 1999, upgrades Envision's award winning presentation
system.
Juggle Show, written from the ground up on the Be Operating System (BeOS),
improves performance over Envision's current Windows 95ċ¨ based system. "We
have achieved significant improvements in the visual quality and the
complexity of transitions and effects" said William Dunning, President of
Envision, Inc. With the BeOS, we were able to take advantage of its
superior handling of multimedia content while utilizing more cost effective
hardware."
Judy Bullard, Art Department - Lucent Technologies Microelectronics Group,
has been using the Windows 95 based system since 1996. "We use it as a
lobby greeting and information display" Bullard said. "The LAN
distribution capabilities have made it easy to manage multiple displays
around our building from one editor. With the new WAN and Internet
distribution tools expected in Juggle Show, we could easily manage displays
in our plants around the world without the need for costly dedicated
connections".
Cable Television MSO's will appreciate the low cost per channel and high
quality video output, making Juggle Show ideal for public access channels
or pay-per-view barkers.
Large manufacturing organizations, maintaining employee information
Intranet or video networks, can take advantage of the zone feature to
distribute targeted, language specific messages to all of their locations
and manage them from one site.
Envision is also launching a service for companies who do not have the
capacity to design and maintain presentations in-house. Envision will
begin providing design, hosting, and updating service with the release of
Juggle Show. This service eliminates the customers need for a Juggle Show
edit/server station, reducing up front costs and providing high quality
custom graphics and layout.
The use of standard Intel Pentium IIċ¨ platform computers and components
assures easy and low cost system maintenance. Juggle Show systems come
with a 5 year limited warranty for parts and labor.
Those interested in further information may complete the pre-release
registration form on Juggle Show's web site, located at
http://www.juggleshow.com. Early registrants will receive up-to-the-minute
product information and are qualified for product discounts, free design
services, and access to Juggle Show's beta evaluation program.
