Emagic announces complete support of the BeOS

Hamburg Germany, November 12th, 1998. Emagic, the award winning European based software and hardware developer, is proud to announce that Logic Audio Platinum, Logic Audio Gold, Logic Audio Silver and the Audiowerk8 Digital Audio Recording card will be fully compatible with the BeOS in 1999. This development further exemplifies Emagic continued commitment to embrace new technologies especially when they have such an impressive potential at increasing productivity.

The BeOS is a significant development specifically designed for Multi Media applications. This operating system offers increased productivity for all media and content developers, especially for applications that demand a lot of real-time functionality, timing stability, multi-tasking and real-time streaming of large amounts of data.

Logic Audio is a professional production application that seamlessly integrates the recording, playback and real-time manipulation of digital audio, scoring, DSP and MIDI sequencing. Available in four skill and price levels, Logic Audio has become the premiere choice of audio professionals worldwide. The Audiowerk8 is a PCI recording card with 2 analog inputs, 8 individual outputs, and stereo digital i/o (s/p-dif).
