Aardvark to Bring Its Line of PC Multichannel Audio Cards to the BeOS

Ann Arbor, MI - January 28, 1999. Aardvark is proud to announce that it is bringing its line of PC multichannel audio cards to the new Be Operating System by developing BeOS compatible drivers.

Aark 20/20 is 8 channels of analog I/O, 2 channels of S/PDIF I/O, Toslink optical I/O, MIDI I/O and an optional ADAT card to connect the PC with any ADAT device. This is aimed at the professional and project studio recording market. Aark TDIF is an audio card connecting digital mixers (such as Yamaha O2R, O3D, Tascam TM-D8000) and Tascam's stand alone digital multitrack recorders directly to the PC, with 8 channels of digital I/O.

"Aardvark audio card line is perfectly fit for a powerful multimedia oriented operating system like BeOS because we can take full advantage of the multichannel, real time capabilities that pro audio workstations demand." Erik Lovell, VP Marketing, Aardvark

"Aardvark offers exceptional price performance in audio cards. Their ultra low latencies will make audio and video software offerings on the BeOS shine." Timothy Self, VP Developer Relations, Be Incorporated
