March 20, 1998, at the Be Developer Conference in Santa Clara, the winners of the third BeOS Masters Awards were announced, recognizing some of the newest, most innovative and useful software for the Be Operating System (BeOS). A total of five developers were presented with BeOS Masters awards, and five developers were noted with honorable mentions.
