Step 2: Upload your Software

Note: For the March Masters Awards you must submit you must submit final software no later than noon (PDT) on November 2nd, 1998.

• Create an "entry_name.txt" file which follows the standard ftp.be.com uploading format, as described by the Be FTP Site Uploading Guidelines. Be sure to describe how to set up and use your product in this file.
  

• Compress your main application using one of the formats described by the Be FTP Site Uploading Guidelines, then upload your files to ftp://ftp.be.com/incoming/masters/. If you would also like for your application to appear in BeWare, please upload it seperately to ftp://ftp.be.com/incoming/

• You must submit apps in either .zip or .pkg format. Use file format extensions in the file name. For instance, if your program is called "MyApp" and you zip your program, your file uploads would be:
  • MyApp.zip
  • MyApp.txt
