TV
The TV application puts a television viewing window on your desktop.
To use TV, you need a video capture card connected to a video output source. The output source can be a VCR, TV, cable box, and probably other video hardware; if your video capture card has a tuner chip, you can connect it to a tuner.
TV preferences are the same as the Video Input panel in the Media preferences application, as described earlier in this chapter.
The difference between the TV app and CodyCam is that you can ftp video data from CodyCam.
