Attendees have a choice between the
Media Application Track or the
Media Node Track. The
Media Application track offers the most readily accessible
sessions. If you do not know whether you will be writing
nodes or applications, you will be better off attending the
Application track. Developers who know they will be working
on nodes should attend the Node Track.
It is recommended that you do not switch tracks because
you may miss crucial information and be confused.
Media Application Track
This track investigates writing Media-enabled applications. The
sessions will cover determining what nodes are available, getting a
hold of them, connecting them together, and managing the output. It
will also include some basics on the internal workings on media nodes.
Media Node Track
This track explores the inner workings of the BMediaNode and its
subclasses. The various sessions will cover buffer passing and timing
issues, internal node design, as well as writing drivers and codecs.
The Development Lab is a place
where Be Developers can demo their applications and connect with other Be
developers.
It is only open during the times stated on this schedule.
Session content is subject to change.
