The Be Developer Conference will be held Friday and Saturday, April 9 and 10, 1999* at:

The Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel in Palo Alto is located just down the street from Be's Menlo Park headquarters. It is nestled between San Francisco and San Jose, just minutes from Stanford University, Stanford Shopping Mall, and downtown Palo Alto.

BeDC Accomodations are available at the Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel. The hotel features elegant guest rooms with work areas designed with the business traveler in mind, 2-line phones with data ports, executive work desks, and more. There is also a full-service spa, health club, and outdoor pool.

Special BeDC group rates per room per night:
Single/Double Occupancy: $99.00, plus applicable room tax (currently 10%)
Normally rates are $129 plus tax

Reservations must be made no later than March 10 to ensure the group rate and availability. Each individual is responsible for making their own reservations by calling the hotel directly at: (650) 857-0787. All reservations will require a guarantee of a credit card or first nights deposit. All major credit cards are accepted. All reservations will be honored on a space available basis at the prevailing rate. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 12 noon. Checkouts after 12 noon will be charged a full day's rate.

Air Travel Information

The Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel is conveniently located near two major international airports. It is just 27 miles south of the San Francisco International Airport and 14 miles north of the San Jose International Airport.

If you are arriving by air, we recommend that you fly into San Jose International Airport. This is a bit closer than San Francisco and can be less expensive if you are coming from anywhere else in the states. If you are arriving from a non-US location, we recommend San Francisco International, which will likely have somewhat less expensive international airfares than San Jose.
