Video cards that used to work but don't now

Situation:

Many Matrox (and other) MacOS PPC video cards won't work in the BeBox now, but did in a previous release.

Many users bought MacOS PPC graphics cards that weren't approved for use on the BeBox and they worked fine. Differences in the MacOS PPC kernel and the BeBox kernel have proven enough to keep the unapproved card from working with more recent releases.
