manufacturers and software developers create
products and services that complement or are
integrated with Be products.
BeIA Development:
For Information and Entertainment Appliances, we offer
BeIA, a software solution designed for the creation of
appliances that deliver information and entertainment
over the web. Incorporating technology from BeOS,
BeIA is fully customizable, offers a comprehensive
browser and supports popular streaming audio and
video standards. We offer developers the ability to
completely customize an appliance's user interface,
so they can create an experience and image appropriate
for their target environment.
Free
resources are available as
well as a BeIA
Evaluation Service for those who wish to investigate what we
offer. The next step is to apply for our Partner
Program.
BeOS Development:
BeOS is an operating system for personal
computers. BeOS Personal Edition can be downloaded for free
along with the development
tools
necessary to create robust BeOS software. BeOS Professional Edition is
available through our
distributors.
BeOS Developer Resources are freely available
online. If additional support is required, please
apply to the Partner
Program .
BeOS developers are encouraged to register
