Shortcuts
The following tables describe how various keyboard and mouse operations are interpreted by the desktop, by Tracker,
by other applications, and so on. Note that adding Shift
to some operations performs the action in reverse.
Desktop Shortcuts

Control+Tab
hold brings up the Twitcher app. Use Alt+Tab
if Control
is your shortcut key.

Control+Tab
cycles through the running applications in the current workspace.

Control+Alt+Delete
activates The Team Monitor.

Alt+F
n
switches to workspace n
(for function keys F1
through F9
only).
Tracker Shortcuts
-
Alt+o,
Enter,
or double-click opens the selected item.

Alt+d
duplicates the selection.
-
Win+double-click closes the current directory before opening an item.
-
Win+drag copies a selection to a new location (rather than moving it).

Alt+up arrow
closes the parent folder.
-
Alt+down arrow
opens the selected item.
-
Alt+Win+up arrow
closes the current folder and opens its parent.

Alt+Win+down arrow
closes the current folder and opens the item.

Alt+f
opens the Find
panel (see Finding Files and Folders).

Alt+y
resizes the window to accommodate its contents.
List Control
-
Click an item to select the item.
-
Click and drag across one or more items to select the items you drag across.

Type one or more letters to select the item that starts with that letter or letters, case-insensitive.

arrow
selects the next item in the direction of the arrow.

Shift+click or drag (release the mouse before releasing Shift)
selects or deselects additional items.

Shift+letter
selects or deselects additional items.

Alt+a
selects all.
-
Alt+right arrow
expands a folder, menu, etc.

Alt+left arrow
collapses a folder, menu, etc.

Return
or spacebar
activates the selected item(s).

Tab
moves to the next item.

Shift+Tab
moves to the previous item.
Focus and Control Shortcuts
-
Alt+Tab
changes keyboard focus to the next item in a window or panel.

Win+Tab
forces a jump to the next control, if inputting text.

Enter
activates the default button.
-
spacebar
activates or toggles the current control (button, checkbox, etc.).
Application Shortcuts
-
Esc
closes the full-screen window, or cancels the current operation.

Alt+n
opens a new application window.

Alt+o
brings up a file panel to open a file.

Alt+s
saves your work in its current file.
-
Alt+Shift+s
brings up a file panel so you can save your work in a new file.

Alt+z
undoes the last change.
-
Alt+Shift+z
redoes the last undo.

Alt+w
closes the active window.

Alt+Shift+p
opens PageSetup
prior to printing.

Alt+p
prints.
-
Alt+q
quits the application.
Menu Mode
-
Alt+Esc
goes into "menu mode"; subsequent keystrokes are interpreted as trigger letters.

arrow
keys navigate the menus (while in menu mode).

Esc
exits menu mode
