Proceedings of the May 1997 BeDC

The following are transcripts and relevent links to materials presented during the general and technical sessions at the Be Developer Conference, held in Santa Clara, California, May 10-11, 1997. The proceedings are organized into three catagories;

General Sessions
General sessions were single track sessions (not scheduled against any other session) and featured the keynote speakers, demonstrations, conversations with developers, BeOS Masters Awards presentations and Q&A sessions. In general, transcripts are not available for these sessions, however, slide, where used, are available.

Approaching Track Technical Sessions
Approaching track sessions are designed to provide a high level overview of the BeOS, and introduction of how to accomplish things within an application written for the BeOS. Transcripts, slides and source code for these sessions are available.

Extending Track Technical Sessions
Extending track sessions are designed to explore a particular area of the BeOS in depth, taking up and going well beyond what Approaching Track sessions cover. Transcripts, slides and source code for these sessions are available.
