Come work on the most exciting OS kernel around!
- Responsibilities

The candidate will take part in kernel developments. It consists in implementing new kernel services and improving existing ones. Examples of possible developments include writing kernel modules (file systems, device drivers and bus managers) or bringing up the kernel on new hardware platforms.
- Requirements
-
- Excellent knowledge of C
- Excellent understanding of synchronization issues in a multithreaded/multiprocessor programming model
- Good knowledge of x86 assembly
- Good knowledge of the PC legacy architecture, including industry standard busses (ISA, PCI, USB, 1394, PCMCIA...)
- a BS is recommended but not strictly required
