Senior Development Tools Engineer Needed in Menlo Park, California Group: Software Engineering: Development Tools Type: Full-Time Job ID: 00055 Description Frustrated by the current state of development tools? So are we. Are you able to visualize and design simple solutions to solve complex development tasks? Then we would like to talk with you. We are changing the world with our BeIA internet appliance platform, and we need your help in assisting our developers (both internal and third-party) be as productive as possible. Responsibilities Responsible for design and development of various software development tools (graphical project manager/source editor, graphical source-level debugger, interface building tools, graphical program analysis tools). Responsibilities would also include talking with developers and designing appropriate solutions for their needs. Requirements BS or MS in Computer Science. Four or more years experience in different development tools and/or environments -- compilers, linkers, debuggers, profilers, IDEs. Experience in C++/C and x86 assembly language (JavaScript and Java experience is helpful). BeOS experience helpful. Strong problem solving and communication skills. New Search | Apply Online
