Software Quality Assurance Lead Needed in Menlo Park, California Group: Software: QA/QC Type: Full-Time Job ID: 00072 Description Be is looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to deliver a high quality product. This is a challenging and exciting position for a motivated individual interested in working in a fast paced QA team. You will be the lead to improve the quality of the most interesting net appliances product in the market. Responsibilities Improve process and testing methodology within the Quality Assurance team and with our engineering team. You will work closely with engineering team to understand the product features. You will need to write and execute the test plan, test cases to verify and release a high quality product. You will plan and define your resources to ensure delivery of the product on time. You will mentor and assign the testing effort to other QA team members, tracking and reporting the testing effort. Requirements BSCS, EE or equivalent 3 to 5 years experience in the software industry with at least 3 years in testing software Strong leadership skills and proven success leading teams Experience in leading QA team through a complete product development cycle Good software engineering practice and familiarity with product life cycle. Experience in QA methodology and QA process Experience with White Box and Black Box testing, regression testing Successful track record of planning and release high quality and on time product Experience evaluating and selecting test automation tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong technical skills in UNIX environment, Linux, or POSIX compliant environment.
