DTS Engineer/Web Compliance Needed in Menlo Park, California Group: Software: DTS Type: Full-Time Job ID: 00057 Description This is a position for the person that believes in a consistent heterogeneous web experience. Duties include analyzing potential customer sites and making suggestions to allow support of non-desktop browsers, and presenting the potential changes to the customers. The candidate should be able to present the impact of these changes (download times, compatibility impacts) and be familiar with web site design issues. Other duties include complex JavaScript and Flash analysis and design for demos that Be presents to the customer. Responsibilities Analyze and make suggestions to make existing web sites W3C compliant. Present changes to site owners in a professional and very diplomatic manner. Analyze web site failure in BEIA. Prepare demo content for Be demos. Requirements HTML/DHTML JavaScript Data Object Model (DOM) Macromedia Flash W3C specifications Security issues and compliance Linux and NT server experience a plus Streaming media formats (Real, MP3) New Search | Apply Online
