Responsibilities

You will maintain and improve:

The build system that we use internally to create BeOS and BeIA builds that are customized for our customers needs.
Create the release system that we use to distribute BeIA software releases to our customers.
The release system transforms a build into an update package that is distributed by a server to remote clients.
Be able to integrate, branch, and merge changes from different source branches to bring together a release.
Needs to be able to commuicate and work closely with our Engineers and QA team to facilate the release cycle.
Create, maintain and automate our build servers to generate builds for various projects.

Requirements

This position requires a highly motivated candidate who can learn new tools and technologies quickly.

Experience with writing advance makefiles and shell scripts.
Experience with Configuration Management and building tools.
Experience in building projects under BeOS or Unix environment.
Strong attention to detail and proven abililty to release large project.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Experience with any of the following is desirable:

C/C++ programming
Server software
GCC and related development tools
Perforce Tools
