BeOS is the
operating system designed from the ground up for the broadband digital
media age. Using advanced design techniques BeOS provides an application
environment that enables multistream video, audio, and graphics,
simultaneously and reliably on x86- and PowerPC-based hardware.
The BeDC
Europe, held on October 7-8 in Frankfurt, Germany, is the ideal forum to
get up to speed on developing for BeOS. It is a great opportunity to get an
in-depth understanding of the Be technologies, and to meet other Be
developers, marketers, and the Be team.
The opening
night welcome session will consist of a keynote address and a welcome
dinner. Attend sessions the following day to learn the latest about the
basic Interface Kit, the Media Kit, incorporating efficient graphics and
user interface into applications, as well as device drivers fundamentals.

host a free Open Doors event in which all BeDC attendees are welcome to
